About the Program
The Master in International Tourism and Hospitality Management helps graduates prepare for the next step in their career within the dynamic work environment of the local/global tourism and hotel industry. You will develop essential managerial-level skills that include, advanced business acumen, strategic thinking, high-level people management, leadership skills, resilience, empathy and specialized industry knowledge, with an emphasis on sustainability principles.
Learning through flexible course delivery options such as on-campus or online modes, you will deepen your core business skills in areas such as revenue management, finance, marketing, technology integration and digitization, developing insights and understanding of how to lead in a culturally diverse context.
As a graduate, you will emerge as a confident leader, equipped to navigate the complex issues and challenges facing the local/global tourism and hotel industry.
Program Educational Objectives
- Demonstrate a application of integrated theoretical knowledge to the advancement of business practice in a hospitality and/or tourism organizational setting.
- Demonstrate competence to work as a manager and leader in service related industries following ethical standards and sustainable practices.
- Engage in multidisciplinary business and hospitality and tourism researches in advancing the hospitality and tourism industry.
Student Outcomes
- Develop a systematic critical awareness of current issues in tourism and the hospitality industries from economic, marketing, organizational, political and socio-cultural perspectives.
- Identify a strategy that can harmoniously deal with guest and clients with reference to professional ethical frameworks and sustainable practices.
- Apply analytical tools to solve problems through an effective strategy offering practical and timely alternative solutions in a dynamic global environment.
- Conduct relevant researches in Hospitality and Tourism.
