The University of Mindanao (UM) Professional Schools successfully held the 5th Professional Schools International Research Conference via Zoom teleconferencing on May 17, 2025. The event gathered more than 200 research entries from local and international participants, showcasing diverse studies across academic fields.
With the theme “Beyond Borders: Innovative and Impact-Driven Research for a Globalized Society,” the conference featured distinguished speakers worldwide. Among them were Dr. Cuthbert Tukundane, Senior Lecturer at Uganda Martyrs University in East Africa; Dr. Khairul Azhar Jamaludin, Deputy Dean for Industry and Community Partnership at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia; Dr. Ana M. Lopez-Periago, Tenured Scientist at the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC), Spain; and Dr. Sorokin Nikolay, Vice-President for Digital Development and International Relations at Pacific National University in Khabarovsk, Russia.
Now in its fifth year, the conference continues to provide a platform for collaboration and knowledge-sharing among academics and practitioners worldwide, drawing over 200 research contributions and engaging speakers across disciplines. The UM Professional Schools reaffirms its commitment to advancing research that addresses global challenges, fosters innovation, and contributes to a more interconnected society.
