About the Program
The program endeavors to develop the students’ expertise in the field of Criminology and Criminal justice. It promotes their highest level of professional competence in criminological theory, research methods, and criminal justice policy; as well as in-depth knowledge in areas of specialization within criminology and/or criminal justice.
Program Educational Objectives
- Develop expertise and high level professional competence in the field of Criminology.
- Conduct advanced and/or independent research in Criminology and other allied areas.
- Apply criminological theories and research findings in the practice of the profession.
Student Outcomes
- Demonstrate high-level professional competence in the field of criminology.
- Exhibit leadership abilities at work and in the professional organization.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge in the operation and administration of the criminal justice system.
